Julie Phillips

Meet Julie Phillips. You’ll find her working behind the scenes as MMA’s Finance Manager. Julie has associates’ degrees in both Office Administration and Medical Office Administration from WPCC. She also has certifications in Microsoft, Computerized Accounting, Global Collaboration, and as a Medical Administrative Assistant from UNC Greensboro. She hopes to finish her bachelor’s degree in 2024. Julie attends Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with her family where she loves to sing in the choir.

Julie has always had a heart for non-profit work. She has volunteered with Mercy Fund Animal Rescue and Burke United Christian Ministries. Several years ago, she lost a very close friend, who had struggled with homelessness previously, to a heroin overdose. Working for the Mission enables h er to help those that are facing the same situations. Julie loves being a part of an organization that helps those struggling with addiction and homelessness to find their path to recovery and a stable home.

Julie says, “I am so thankful to those that have donated and those that keep donating to such a good cause. I am blessed to be a part of an organization whose employees not only care about the community but each other as well. I look forward to seeing what all the future holds for the Mission.”
